Fugitive arrested on rape warrant

Ronnie L. Helms, 39, no address listed was arrested Thursday at Venango County Prison in Pennsylvania on an outstanding rape warrant.

Helms had been awaiting extradition since being arrested by Oil City, Pa., police on Aug. 27. He was taken to Mahoning County jail for booking.

He also was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in Northern Ohio and was the law-enforcement agency’s most-wanted fugitive of the week.
