Shannon Hians, Kevin Merrell to wed in Nov.

AUSTINTOWN

Mickey and Lori Hians of Austintown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Hians, also of Austintown, to Kevin Merrell, son of Ray and Brenda Merrell, all of Youngstown.

The couple are planning a 2 p.m. open ceremony on Nov. 5 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.

Miss Hians earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University. She is a registered nurse at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

Mr. Merrell is a firefighter for the Youngstown Fire Department.
