Mr. Barahona, Miss Schmitt to wed in Illinois

STREATOR, ILL.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schmitt of Streator announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Anne Schmitt, to Michael Angelo Barahona, son of Marilyn Vuletich of Austintown and Miguel A. Barahona of Miami, Fla.

The couple will be married Sept. 30 at Starved Rock State Park in Utica, Ill. A reception will follow at Deer Park Country Club.

The bride-to-be graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology. The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Rockford College.
