“Picasso at the Lapin Agile,SDRq Trumbull New Theatre, 5883 Youngstown-Warren Road SE, Niles. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday. Tom Hitmar will direct the comedy/farce; the show opens Nov. 4. Four women between 21 and 40 years old, seven men, including four young and active, one older man and two others. “Kimberly Akimbo,” Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., Youngstown. Auditions will be at 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Need three women and two men. Kimberly, a teenage girl, must be played by an actress in her 60s; Buddy, her father, mid-30s to 40s; Jeff, a teenage boy; Pattie, Kimberly’s hypochondriac mother, mid-30s-40; and Debra, an eccentric aunt, early 30s. “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,SDRq Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron. Auditions will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 18 and 19 with callbacks at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20. The roles of Jacob, Joseph, narrator, Pharaoh and Potiphar are open to, but not limited to, adult actors. Age limit for all other roles is 12 to 21. Thirty-four roles available. Please prepare two pieces of music, one ballad and one up-tempo, 16 bars for each piece, no longer than one minute. Bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals will be Sept. 25 and run Sun.-Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Performances are Nov. 22-Dec. 18. There are four daytime performances. Auditions are by appointment only. Call 330-836-2626.
