Tuesday: The Trumbull County native finished 43rd and earned $82,641 in Tuesday’s Advocare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Season to date: Before the race, Blaney was in 32nd place in the Sprint Cup standings with 323 points. He was 21 points behind Casey Mears.

This week: NASCAR is off to Richmond, Va., for the Wonderful Pistachios 400 in Saturday night.
