Golf scramble set

COITSVILLE

Friends of Transit will have an 18-hole golf scramble Oct. 9 at Bedford Trails Golf Club, 713 Bedford Road. Registration opens at 8 a.m.; a shotgun start is set for 9:30; and a dinner will follow play. A cost of $65 per person or $260 for a foursome covers greens fees with cart, lunch at the turn and dinner. Friends or family can attend the dinner only for $20 per person. Registration and payment must be received by Sept. 25. The event will include team and skill prizes, skins game and a 50-50 raffle.
