Cancer Survivorship Day Sunday in Warren

Trumbull Memorial Hospital and the TMH Foundation, in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, will sponsor the 22nd annual Cancer Survivorship Day from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln School, 2253 Atlantic St. NE.

The celebration will feature jazz music by local music therapist and jazz recording artist Teddy Pantelas, a presentation by local physician Dr. Robert Brodell and patient testimonials. It will close with the traditional butterfly release.

Cancer survivors, family members and friends are encouraged to attend the free event, which is open to the public. Pre-registration is not required but appreciated; call the society at 888-227-6446, ext. 2104.
