21 Valley residents are nominated for prestigious 2011 Legacy Awards

Twenty-one area residents will be recognized at a luncheon Oct. 19 as nominees for Valley Legacy Awards, which honor civic-minded seniors and senior advocates for their contributions to the Mahoning Valley. Three of the nominees will be named Outstanding Seniors and two will be named Outstanding Advocates for Seniors at the event, which will take place at Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road. Tickets are $25, and the public is invited.
