Mooney senior A.J. Overly scored his first goal of the season with five minutes remaining. Junior Byron Abridg assisted on the tally for the Cardinals (2-1-1) and goalie Dalton Smith saved 11 balls.

Lakeview 3, Hubbard 0

Matt Black, Louie Novakovich and James Metheny scored the goals for the Bulldogs. Tyler Pagley had seven saves for Hubbard while Lakeview goaltender Alex Rosowicz made three stops.

Ursuline 3, Columbiana 1

YOUNGSTOWN

Junior center-midfielder John Crowe had two goals and sophomore forward Rick Kowacich had the other goal for the Irish (1-3). Kowacich and Crowe also assisted on each other’s goals while one of Crowe’s was unassisted. Ursuline had a 3-0 lead until Columbiana scored in the final 10 minutes. Ursuline’s sophomore goaltender, Zack Freer, madeseven saves. The win avenged an earlier 3-2 loss to the Clippers. Ursuline’s other losses were 3-1 to Warren JFK 1-0 to Hubbard.

West Branch 7, Streetsboro 0

Cody Criss had two goals, while Austen Rekolt, Dylan Greenawalt, Aaron Moser, Matt Latham and Jack Ramsey had single scores for the Warriors (2-4).Rekolt had three assists, while Cody Beegle, Criss and Greenawalt had one apiece. Zach Minich made three saves for West Branch.
