Khristine Krcelic and Benjamin Mashburn were married July 2 at The Kidston Pavilion at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Lynn Krcelic of Poland, and the groom is the son of Marvin and Pamela Mashburn of Lowellville.
The Rev. Barry Knaub performed the ceremony. The couple’s reception took place at the groom’s parents’ farm. They took a wedding trip to Cedar Point.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown adorned with lace, crystals, pearls and a white satin sash.
Wearing terracotta-colored dresses with white sashes were the maid of honor, Laura Krcelic, the bride’s sister, along with Rachel Woodburn and Lydia Mashburn, the groom’s sisters, and Brittany Krcelic, the bride’s niece.
Serving as best man was Jacob Mashburn, the groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Richard Woodburn, the groom’s brother-in-law; Daniel Hunt, the groom’s cousin; and Nicholas Krcelic, the bride’s brother. Nicholas and Brian Krcelic, the bride’s nephews, were ring bearers.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in mathematics. She is employed as a teaching assistant at YSU.
The groom is attending New Castle School of Trades, working toward a degree in certified combination welding.
