GARDEN CLUBS

TUESDAY

Daphne will meet at 11:30 a.m. with Anne Beck as hostess. The program will be by Wild Birds Unlimited, and the coordinator is Barbara Guzell.

WEDNESDAY

Mahoning will meet at noon for a sack lunch at the Davis Education & Visitor Center. The program will be the club flower show, horticulture theme: artistic arranging; fall harvest 1. Hues of Fall; 2. Water Garden; 3. Falling Leaves. Judge: Evelyn Resek. Hostesses are Dee Didden and Barbara Sloan.

Men’s Garden Club members will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Walt Sturgeon will be the guest speaker on the topic of mushrooms. Guests are welcome. The club’s fall mum sale will begin Saturday at the gardens.

THURSDAY

Nature Lovers will meet at 1 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens for a Fresh Flower Workshop with Dollie Vivalo, instructor. The cost is $17.
