Gettysburg rite planned for Cook, DeCarlo union

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Cook of Gettysburg, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald DeCarlo of Poland are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their children, Chelsea Marie Cook and Jonathan David DeCarlo, both of Washington, D.C.

The couple have planned an afternoon ceremony for Oct. 9 in Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, and a reception afterward at The Links at Gettysburg. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-to be is a teacher at Ivy Mount School in Rockville, Md., after earning a bachelor’s degree from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and a master’s in health science from Johns Hopkins University.

The prospective groom is an associate attorney with the law office of Jason Cleckner in College Park, Md., after earning a bachelor’s from Bates College and a master’s in environmental law and a law degree from Vermont Law School.
