Disney star Bella Thorne coming to Eastwood Mall

Bella Thorne, star of the Disney Channel series “Shake It Up,” will be at Eastwood Mall from noon to 3 p.m. next Saturday to greet fans.

She will sign autographs for free and give away photos.

On “Shake It Up,” Thorne plays CeCe Jones, an aspiring dancer who lands a back-up role on her favorite show, “Shake It Up, Chicago.”

The series premiered in November to 6.2 million viewers, making it the Disney Channel’s second- highest-rated series premiere and its highest- rated Sunday premiere. It is the No. 1 series with kids and tweeners (age 6-14) through its first 17 shows and is on pace to become the top tween cable series of all time.

She has appeared in more than 20 films and television series, including HBO’s “Big Love” as Bill Paxton’s free-spirited daughter Tancy (Teenie) Henrickson; as Christian Slater’s daughter in NBC’s “My Own Worst Enemy”; and as Billy Baldwin’s daughter on ABC’s “Dirty Sexy Money.”

On the big screen, Thorne had a key role in the psychological thriller “Forget Me Not.” Thorne is a three-time nominee for a Young Artist award, winning in 2009 for Best Supporting Young Actor in “My Own Worst Enemy.” This year, she won the Best Actress award for “Shake It Up.”
