Day-Linville rite is scheduled for St. Augustine

Richard and Diane Day of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Day, and Nicholas Linville, both of Gainesville, Fla.

Mr. Linville is a son of Terry and Joy Linville of Zephyrhills, Fla.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in an afternoon ceremony Oct. 15 in Cathedral Basilica in St. Augustine, Fla., and receive guests that evening at Casa Monica Hotel there. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-to-be is a pediatric gastroenterology fellow at the University of Florida in Gainesville after earning a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and a medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

The prospective groom is a historian at Southeastern Archaelogical Research Inc. in Gainesville after earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from the University of Florida.
