Chili Cook-Off set

Beeghly Oaks Nursing & Rehab Center, 6505 Market St., will host its third annual Chili Cook-off from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 13 to benefit the American Heart Association.

For $5, patrons will get a sample of each participant’s chili to taste as well as judge, plus a bowl of his or her favorite with choice of toppings. Refreshments also will be served.

Tickets will be available for a 50-50 drawing and a Chinese auction.
