Spaghetti dinner to benefit couple

HANOVERTON

A benefit spaghetti dinner for Jim and Jean Rhodes will take place from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at United Schools. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for students 12 and younger and senior citizens; and free for children under 2. Carryouts will be available.

For more than 50 years, the Rhodeses have served the community, the fire department, the school system and St. Paul Church. They are having health problems and need support.

The dinner is being sponsored by Winona Fire Department, ladies of the Methodist Church and Winona community members.
