Naatural gas prices go down slightly for some Dominion EOG customers

YOUNGSTOWN — Standard Service or Standard Choice offer Dominion East Ohio customers will see a slight decrease in their gas bill this month.

The new rates, effective Sept. 12, means the average SCO/SSO residential bill in September will be $34.35, down 29 cents or 0.8 percent from the $34.64 average in September 2010.

All SSO and SCO customers pay the same rate for natural gas regardless of supplier. Rates are based on natural gas prices.

Rates are for customers who do not purchase gas from an Energy Choice supplier or participate in a government aggregation program.
