20-household sale

Boardman Lions Club has scheduled a 20-household garage sale to benefit three local charities for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at 5226 Pinetree Lane.

Proceeds will be divided among the Linus Project, which supplies blankets to high-risk newborns; the Plant-a-Million-trees outreach of Lions Club International to plant trees in local parks and schools; and the Coats for Kids project, which donates coats to township students who need them.

The club meets the second Thursday of each month at Youngstown Sports Grille and is seeking new members. Direct questions to President Terry Shears at 330-726-1943.
