Town-hall meeting on Utica Shale drilling is Wednesday in North Jackson

NORTH JACKSON — A town-hall informational meeting regarding Utica Shale drilling and leasing will take place from 7 to to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Jackson Township Administration Building, 10613 Mahoning Ave.

The meeting will focus on landowner advocacy and will cover information relating to oil and gas drilling in Mahoning County, the leasing process, landowner groups, legal obligations on existing leases, and protective lease terms for landowners. For more information, call 330-953-2035.
