LaBrae 27, Steubenville Central Catholic 13

Matt Szorady rushed 24 times for 176 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday to help lift LaBrae (6-4). Szorady scored on runs of 1, 16 and 3 yards for the Vikings (6-4) who opened a 27-6 lead early in the third quarter. LaBrae took a 7-0 lead on an 8-yard pass from Peyton Alridge to Paul Zigmont. A short Szorady run made it 14-0 entering the second quarter. In this week’s computer ratings, the Vikings were the number eight team in Division IV Region 13. The top eight teams in each division advance. For Steubenville Central Catholic, Brenton Colabdila completed 24 of 42 passes for 319 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
