The Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, Tenn., was the site of the July 16 wedding ceremony of Kristen Hershey and Brian Schell, both of Nashville.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Janet Hershey, and the groom is the son of Richard and Joan Schell, all of Boardman.

The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Ed Steiner, and a reception took place at the Cannery Ballroom in Nashville.

The bride wore a strapless, stretch mikado mermaid gown, which featured a draped bodice and black sash.

Dressed in black with hot-pink accents were the three maids of honor, Shannon Starr, Lalah Iacobucci and Nikki Rinko, along with bridesmaids Hillary Taylor, Ali Clark and Jenna Schell, the groom’s sister.

Paul Troy served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Blake, Larry Sammartino, Tim Regruit, Bill Marsh and Michael McDermott.

The bride, who graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in middle-school education, is a seventh-grade math teacher and tennis coach in Nashville.

The groom, who earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from John Carroll University, is employed by Aetna Health Insurance in Brentwood, Tenn.

The couple honeymooned in French Polynesia and live in Nashville.
