Dr. Kimberly Sanchez of Bath, Ohio, and Dr. Jeffrey Randall Monteith of Akron exchanged wedding vows July 9.

The Rev. Matthew Pfeiffer officiated at the ceremony, which took place at St. Sebastian Church in Akron. A reception followed at the Hilton Hotel in Fairlawn.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Bonnie Sanchez of Bath, formerly of Liberty. The groom is the son of Randall and Pamela Monteith of Green.

The bride wore an ivory silk gown with Swarovski crystals on the bodice and waist.

Wearing Tiffany blue were Dr. Nicole Williams, maid of honor, and bridesmaids Taylor Summerfield, the bride’s cousin; Alicia Monteith, the groom’s sister; and Dr. Alla Kukuyev.

Adam Smith served as best man, and groomsmen were Jeffrey Clark and Dr. David Byers.

The bride graduated from Walsh University and received her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She is a radiologist at the Cleveland Clinic, where she is completing her residency.

The groom earned his medical degree from NEOUCOM and is an internal-medicine specialist at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron.

The couple, who are making their home in Fairlawn, enjoyed a wedding trip to Antigua.
