St. Patrick Church was the site where Kelly Bretz and Josh Carano exchanged wedding vows on June 25 in an afternoon ceremony.

The Rev. Timothy H. O’Neill officiated, and a reception took place at the Palermo Center in Campbell.

The bride wore a white A-line gown with beading at the top and a ruffle train. Wearing mermaid-shaded dresses were the matron of honor, Stephanie Barca, and bridesmaids Nikki Bracken, Jenna Lonsinger and Danielle Ashley, all cousins of the bride, and Katie Rosile, Ashley Libeg and Shannon Antenucci. Junior bridesmaid was Jenna Dripps, and flower girl was Ava Antenucci.

Adam Carano was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Ryan Caesar, the groom’s cousin, and Bob Thompson, Rick Sypert, Marc Barca, Mike Vargo, Erik Rigby and Ed Wilms. Bobby Thompson served as ring bearer.

Mrs. Carano graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and from Kent State University with a master’s degree in reading specialization. She is an elementary reading teacher with Southington Local Schools.
