Julianna Marie DeKatch and Randall Michael Malleske exchanged wedding vows on June 25 at St. Christine Church.

The bride is the daughter of Donna DeKatch of Poland and the late Randall DeKatch. The groom is the son of Randall and Darlene Malleske of Youngstown.

The afternoon ceremony was officiated by Monsignor David Rhodes and the Rev. David Weikart. A reception took place at The Elm Tree in Struthers.

The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown with a lace-up closure, scalloped neckline and an asymmetrical draped bodice with floral beaded embellishments.

Wearing indigo was Amy Fries, the bride’s cousin, who was matron of honor. In ice-blue dresses were bridesmaids Nicole Malleske, the groom’s sister-in-law; Alyssa DiBernardi, the groom’s cousin; Aleah- Marie Malleske, the groom’s niece; and Carly Cene, Alexis Giansante, Tiffany Nespeca, Michele O’Leary and Sheila Kapics. Leilani Fries, the bride’s cousin, was flower girl.

Michael Malleske, the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott DeKatch, the bride’s brother; Rick Malleske, the groom’s brother; and Joseph Woodall, John Demidovich, Jason Nespeca, Kevin O’Leary and Michael Kapics. Alejandro Fries, the bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.

After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple are living in Youngstown.
