International Great Race will stop in Warren next year

WARREN

The Great Race, the world’s premiere old car rally, is coming to Warren June 29, and is expected to bring up to 100 antique automobiles to the National Packard Museum as part of an overnight stop.

Several Packards will be participating in the race, including a 1916 Twin Six. The event, which starts in Traverse City, Michigan and circles the Great Lakes through Canada before finishing in Dearborn, Michigan is free to the public and will last for several hours beginning around 4:30 p.m.

Warren, Ohio is the seventh overnight stop on the nine-day international trek. Additional details will follow in the coming months. The National Packard Museum’s Executive Director, Mary Ann Porinchak and the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau’s Executive Director, Stephanie Sferra are helping to coordinate the local stop.
