Wedding vows were exchanged Aug. 5 at St. Columba Cathedral by Brianna Groubert, daughter of Brian and Lesley Groubert, all of Boardman, and Justin Fowler, son of Joyce Fowler, both of Newton Falls.

The Rev. John Keehner performed the afternoon ceremony, and a reception took place at the Georgetown in Youngstown before the couple left for a honeymoon in the Greek Islands.

The bride wore an A-line gown with a tiered bust, Alen ßon lace bodice and lace accents at the hem.

Wearing purple were the maid of honor, Emily Groubert, the bride’s sister, along with bridesmaids Catherine Groubert, the bride’s sister; Lydia Saniski, the bride’s cousin; and Renae Davis and Evelyn Schramm. Ellie Colla, the bride’s cousin, was flower girl.

Travis Fowler, the groom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Matt Well, Bob Rummel, Matt Kulinski and Nick Bjelac. Usher was Anthony Colla, the bride’s cousin. Ring bearer was Vinnie Colla, also the bride’s cousin.

Mrs. Fowler earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and is attending Purdue University, where she is pursuing a doctorate in veterinary medicine.

Mr. Fowler earned a bachelor’s degree from Grove City College and a master’s in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Technological University. He is a field follow engineer for Caterpillar in West Lafayette, Ind.

The couple are making their home in West Lafayette.
