Ohio State fans offer opinions on Tressel

columbus

Ohio State fans wish Jim Tressel was still their coach.

Sixty-three percent of self identified Buckeyes fans polled in Ohio said they thought Tressel should still have his old job compared to only twenty-four percent who were glad he resigned.

Whether respondents were alumni or not, whether they characterized their fandom as hardcore, moderate, or casual, and whatever their demographics there’s agreement from the Buckeye fan base that Tressel should still be on the sidelines.

Tressel gets a eventy eight percent approval rating from Ohio State fans for the job he did as coach.

It appears that fans are focusing their blame on the school’s issues with the NCAA less on Tressel and more on former quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
