Queener indicted
CLEVELAND
A federal grand jury has indicted a 40-year-old Youngstown man in the armed robbery of a Boardman discount store almost four years ago.
Sean L. Queener was charged Thursday with robbing the Dollar Tree store at 1150 Doral Drive on Jan. 14, 2008. A store employee told police a gunman demanded money after she and a co-worker had locked the store’s door around 9 p.m. She gave him the store’s bank deposit bag from her purse, and he fled in the car in which he had arrived.
The case was investigated by Boardman and Youngstown police, the FBI and the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force, the U.S. attorney said. The case is assigned to U.S. District Judge Benita Y. Pearson in Youngstown.
