Poland site will collect food for the needy

Food banks are running low as the need for help rises. During November, Shepherd of the Valley in Poland will collect nonperishable items to help stock the food bank at Victory Lutheran Church on Glenwood Avenue in Youngstown.

The church feeds 160 to 180 families/people per month and expects that number to increase as the holidays draw near.

Donors may drop off nonperishable food at the receptionist’s desk at Shepherd of the Valley-Poland, 301 W. Western Reserve Road. For more information, call 330-726-7110, ext. 0.
