Park Vista to host foreign-policy talk

Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., will present a program on U.S. Foreign Policy from 9:15 to 12:45 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Gathering Room.

Part of Park Vista’s Lifelong Learning Series, the program is an interactive presentation by Dr. Greg Ferro of Penn State University, who will discuss challenges and opportunities of U.S. foreign policy in the 21st century.

“U.S. Foreign Policy: Implications, Impact, Common Denominators 1945-2011” will cover topics that span from the U.S. entrance to the Korean War to the overthrow and death of Moammar Gadhafi.

The cost for Park Vista residents and priority members is $10, and it’s $15 for the public. The ticket includes lunch after the presentation. Register by Nov. 8; call 330-746-2944, ext. 1555.
