Historical society fund-raising events

Girard Historical Society will host the annual fall Barnhisel House fund-raising dinner Nov. 5 at St. Mark Church, 3560 Logan Ave., Liberty.

Hospitality hour starts at 5:30 p.m.; dinner will follow at 6. Tickets may be bought from members, or call 330-545-6162 or 330-545-6559.

The historical society’s calendar sale is under way. The calendar includes pictures of Ohio Leather employees and Girard High School students. Calendars can be bought for $6 at Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St., and Daffin’s Candies, 39 W. Liberty St.
