Oct. 1

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Animal complaint: A summons was issued to Adam Bachtel, 30, 5642 London Drive, for a loose dog.

Breaking and entering: An air conditioner was pushed in and a home broken into in the 4000 block of Kerrybrook Drive, but nothing was missing.

Criminal damaging: A window was shattered and a mirror broken at a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Theft: $40.02 in gasoline was stolen at Uni-Mart, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Indiana license plate was stolen from an auto at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported and a cable box was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.

Theft: A wallet was taken from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: $300 in cash and an iPod Touch were stolen from a home in the 7000 block of Callaway Circle.

Oct. 2

Recovered property: A men’s “Phat Farm” wallet containing $420 in cash was recovered in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Oct. 10

Drug offense: Ricky Cartery,20, of 62 Saranac Ave., Youngstown was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5000 block of Clarkins Drive.

Theft: Medication was reported stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Ave.

Theft: Leon Reynolds, 38, of 4884 Westchester Drive. No. 7 was arrested for theft of slippers, liquor and steaks at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Passing bad checks: A man is a suspect in passing bad checks to Jubilee Limousine, 4528 Aspen Drive.

Burglary: A safe was stolen but there were no signs of forced entry at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: $30 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: Windows, a light and vinyl siding were shot with a bb gun in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.

Menacing: A male is suspect in menacing at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Assault: A 17-year -old was a victim of assault in the 4000 block of New Road.

Oct. 11

Theft: $284 in unauthorized charges were made on a debit card stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: John Blazo, 49, of 4147 New Road, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with probation and a domestic violence charge.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account in the 2000 block of Vollmer Road.

Theft: A Garmin and a chain saw were taken from an auto at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Criminal trespassing: Sincearae Opatken,47, of 215 Steel St., Youngstown and Ray Macovitz, 61, of 216 Steel St., Youngstown were both arrested for trespassing at the at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive. Opatken was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Lottery tickets were stolen at Raccoon Road Beer and Wine,3120 S. Raccoon Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Harassment by phone was reported at a home in the 200 block of N. Main Street.

Theft: Pills were stolen from a home in the 100 block of S. Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: A Wii game system, jewelry, GPS, movies, games and DVDs were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Oct. 12

Identity theft: Credit cards were opened in the victim’s name in the 2000 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: Jay Weston, 25, of 10738 Main St., New Middletown, was issued a summons for theft of an 8.4 ounce bottle of Red Bull at Sheetz gas station, and was also arrested on a warrant out of Columbiana.

Theft: Prescription medications were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Howard Street.

Oct. 13

Theft: A power tool and two radar detectors were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Theft: A radar detector, $37 and an Ohio driver’s license were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Theft: A 2006 Great Dane trailer was stolen and later located at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at Yorkshire Boulevard and Beverly Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Two vehicles and the window to a residence were reported damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A catch basin and drain pipe were damaged at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Steven Spitzer, 22, of 6642 Abbott St., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a burglary charge.

Warrant: Antoine Davis, 46, of 139 Carnegie Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Public indecency: David Baganoli, 46, of 3937 New Road, was arrested on a public indecency charge.

Oct. 14

Criminal damaging: A vehicle and windshield were struck by a BB or pellet gun at Mahoning Ave. and Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: Slim Jims were stolen at Sheetz gas station.

Theft: An iPad was stolen at Fyda Freightliner,5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Michael Marsh, 34, of 4499 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna was arrested for theft of $200 in merchandise at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. and on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Criminal damaging: An apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road was damaged.

Telecommunications harassment: An ex-employee is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Transient vendor violation: Jan Fisher,53, of 227 Second St., Warren was arrested on a transient vendor violation in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Court.

Theft: Michael Gay, 40,of 379 Stephens St., Youngstown was arrested for theft of $116 in merchandise at Wal-Mart for possession of criminal tools, and on a Youngstown warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Burglary: Numerous items were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Oct. 15

Recovered vehicle: A 2010 Nissan was stolen at Vinnie’s Drive Thru, 1255 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A realty sign and lawn were damaged at a home in the 5000 block of DePauw Ave.

Criminal damaging: A realty sign and lawn were damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Colgate Avenue.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from Wizard of Odds 2, 4761 Mahoning Ave.

Robbery: A man reported that he was robbed of his keys, a jacket and a hoodie at the Go Go Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive by three unknown males.

Oct. 16

Drug offense: David Chmelik Jr., 22, of 3386 Main St., Mineral Ridge was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession in the 5000 block of Clarkins Drive.

Criminal damaging: A driver’s window was broken out at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Breaking and entering: The rear window was broken out but no entry was gained at ABC Motor Credit, 4508 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A vehicle was recovered in the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A 16-year-old female was arrested for stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A rock was thrown through a windshield at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made to a victim at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Oct. 17

Theft: A bottle of Frappucino was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Android cellphone was stolen at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Criminal damaging: Picnic tables were damaged at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Aggravated menacing: Threatening text messages were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Howard Street.

Theft: A purse was stolen from an auto parked at Bob Evans, 1100 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Felonious assault: A female suspect hit a male suspect with a car and ran over his foot at Denny’s, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A cash register was taken at Belleria Pizza, 5625 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police arrested Kevin Williams, 23, of 611 S. Canfield-Niles Road, for theft at a Sheetz gas station.

Oct. 18

Theft: A stereo was stolen from an auto at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Obstructing official business: Police arrested Karissa Kulcsar, 27, of 2459 Oregon Ave., Youngstown, on a summons for obstructing official business and on a warrant from Youngstown at Rebel 38, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Oct. 19

Recovered property: A battery backup system was recovered in the parking lot at Monroe Muffler, 4754 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An iPod and stereo were stolen from an auto at True To Form, 5461 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Frankie Lockett, 20, of 1010 Compass West, No. 19, with the crime.

Criminal trespassing and theft: Police charged Sharon Ritter, 36, of 106 N. Brockway Ave., Youngstown, with theft and criminal trespassing at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized bank charges were reported in the 3000 block of Canfield Road.

Theft: Lottery tickets were reported stolen at the Pit Stop, 1744 S. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: Electronics were taken and there was forced entry in a burglary at an apartment in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Burglary: Jewelry and electronics were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road. There was no forced entry.

Theft: A man is a suspect in taking money from a register at Golden Food Mart, 4282 New Road.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Anna Miller, 46, of 211 Royal Mall Drive, Niles, with the crime after her arrest at the TA Truck Center parking lot, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Oct. 20

Theft: A pool stick and case were taken from an auto parked at a home in the 7000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.

Burglary: An apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive was broken into and $15 in change was stolen.

Oct. 21

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons on the crime to Howard McCreary, 44, of 254 S. Main St., at North Edgehill and Mahoning avenues.

Theft: A theft was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Derbyshire Drive.

Domestic violence: Police charged Shirley Howell, 47, of 212 N. Navarre Ave., after her arrest at her home.

Theft: A DVD was stolen at Golden Food Market, 4290 New Road.

Counterfeit check: A counterfeit cashier’s check for $1,600 was passed at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Shane Desmith, 28,of 656 Riverview Drive, Leavittsburg, for theft at Wal-Mart, and they also arrested him on two active warrants out of Warren.

Burglary: Two televisions, two DVDs, a microwave and two sweepers were stolen from Taco Bell, 850 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A Baja mini bike was stolen from a home in the 200 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Oct. 22

Theft: An iPod was taken from a Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Police charged Sid-Michael Taylor, 22, of 8142 Casterock Road NE, Warren, with aggravated menacing and carrying a concealed weapon charge, and Gregory Tiberio, 25, of 160 Aylesboro Ave., Boardman, with drug abuse of marijuana after their arrest at the Wedgwood Plaza.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman reported receiving unwanted text messages from her ex-husband at a home in the 3000 block of Heritage Court.

Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Robert Sudimak, 44, of 127 N. Main St., for failure to appear in court.

Theft: Video games and controllers were taken three male suspects at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: An assault was reported at O’Donold’s Pub, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 23

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at Victoria Road and Silica Road.

Felonious assault: Police charged Raymond Riley, 50, of 1161 S. Raccoon Road, with felonious assault and tampering with evidence, and Kenneth Jordan, same address, no age, was charged with felonious assault and possession of drug paraphernalia after their arrest in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A 9mm Smith & Wesson, a .32 caliber Browning semiautomatic pistol, and a .25 caliber Colt automatic pistol were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of East Webb Road.

Breaking and entering: A swimming pool with a filter, grills and copper were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

Theft: Three cans of gas were stolen from an auto parked in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A car was given a flat tire and scratches were placed on the vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.
