CONNEAUT LAKE, Pa.

People who wish to enjoy the annual holiday light display at a northwestern Pennsylvania amusement park are being asked to put their money where their mouth is.

Organizers of the display at Conneaut Lake Park say they must raise $7,500 by selling 500 $15 tickets by Nov. 4.

If enough tickets aren’t sold, the display won’t go on as scheduled from Nov. 25 to Jan. 1.

If the display is canceled, the $15 tickets will become gift certificates that can be redeemed at Hotel Conneaut or the Beach Club on the park’s grounds.

The tickets entitle a carload of visitors to drive through the park’s Holiday of Lights display and can be reused.
