Class of 1961 marks 50th reunion

The Fitch High School class of 1961 gathered for its 50th class reunion at Luciano’s Banquet Hall on Sept. 3 and 4.

A buffet dinner was served on Sept. 3 and there were 121 people in attendance, 76 of which were 1961 graduates.

Fitch alumni enjoyed a “farewell” brunch on Sept. 4 with 73 people in attendance, 48 of which were 1961 graduates. Classmates came as far as California to attend the reunion. During the reunion there was much reminiscing and a group picture was taken.

The reunion committee consisted of Rita Cecil, Jim Antell, Carol Antell, Elaine Mihalik, Ken Wilcox, Ed Goldner and Larry Platt.
