Giuriceo headlines card at St. Lucy’s Nov. 19

Jake Giuriceo (13-0-1, 3 KOs) will once again be the main attraction when he takes on Bryne Green (7-4-1, 3 KOs) on Nov. 19 at Campbell’s St. Lucy Palermo Center for the UBO (Universal Boxing Association) American Belt.

The 10-round match will be Giuriceo’s first time in the ring since scoring a unanimous eight-round decision over Ramesis Gil in the outdoor feature Aug. 13 at Bob Cene Park.

The nine-bout “November Fury” fight card will also feature Youngstown’s Chris Koval (25-6, 18 KOs), who will take on Mujaheed Moore (4-6, 3 KOs) of Shaker Heights in a heavyweight clash, and Youngstown’s Durrell Richardson (12-3, 5 KOs) and Miguel Gonzales (20-2, 15 KOs) of Cleveland whose opponents are yet to be determined.

Richardson is a middleweight while Gonzales is a lightweight.

The card, by Lights Out Promotions, will also showcase junior middleweight Dante Moore (6-0-1, 4 KOs) of Cleveland who is awaiting confirmation of an opponent.

“We’re really looking forward to this card because each and every boxer is exciting to watch,” said promoter Mike Cefalde.

“We’re also hoping that down the road this could lead to a televised match on ESPN.”

The card will also pit Warren’s Marco Hall (1-0, KO) in a lightweight clash against Roberto Harris of Columbus, who will be making his pro debut, and super middleweight Roberto Acevedo (1-0) of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, who will meet Delvery Wofford (0-1) of Dallas.

Also scheduled is Youngstown cruiserweight Juan Salinas (0-1), who will meet David Burns (0-2) of Cleveland; Youngstown’s Vinny O’Neil (2-1-1, 2 KOs), who takes on Cleveland’s Derrick Moss (1-0) in a welterweight pairing, and Hector Martinez (7-5, 4 KOs) of Broderick, Calif., who will take on Romero Rene (12-0) of Georgia in a heavyweight scrap.
