Crestview soccer boys advance

Greg Bable scored two goals on Tuesday as the Crestview High boys soccer team defeated Rootstown, 3-2, in the Division III district semfinal.

Crestview advances to meet Waterloo in Saturday’s district final. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Waterloo High School.

Jacob Mellinger scored the Rebels’ other goal and assisted on one of Bable’s goals.

Goalkeeper Derek Bable made three saves.

For Rootstown, Andrew Mazur and Justin Langston scored goals.
