Meghan Linnea Best of Toledo, daughter of Leslie and Margaret Best of Girard, married Christopher Schmidbauer of Toledo, son of Dr. Joseph and Robin Schmidbauer of Oregon, Ohio, and Carolyn and Thomas Jaksetic of Temperance, Mich., July 15 at Tamaron Country Club.
The Revs. Jeremiah Williamson and Jen Williamson officiated, and a reception followed at the country club.
The bride wore an ivory gown featuring a beaded and jeweled sash and back buttons extending along the train.
Her attendants, in blue gowns, were her sister, Mollylin Best, as maid of honor; the groom’s sister, Katie Schmidbauer, bridesmaid; and the bride’s cousin, Janelle Szymanski, as flower girl.
Andrew Schmidbauer was his brother’s best man; groomsman was Joseph Costello; and ushers were Bramwell Tong, the groom’s brother-in-law; Ryan Harwell and Matthew Jaksetic, the groom’s stepbrother.
The bride is a supervisor in testing services for Owens Community College in Toledo after earning a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Toledo and a master’s in business administration from Ohio Dominican University.
The groom is sports editor for the Toledo Free Press and a radio host on Fox Sports WCWA 1230 AM after attending Ohio State University.
After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple are making their home in Toledo.
