Gang members to change pleas
Staff Report

Two Youngstown members of a South Side gang will change their pleas in federal court.
Dominique Callier, 19, and Shawn Jones, 21, are set to plead guilty for their roles in the LSP gang, which federal agents say plotted murder and sold guns for nearly 10 years.
LSP stands for the streets from which the gang operated its suspected criminal enterprise — Laclede, Sherwood and Parkview avenues.
The suspects face two counts each of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act charges in federal court and were arrested after police and members of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated the gang’s activity for two years. The investigation netted a 42-count federal indictment in March against 24 men and state charges against an additional seven men.
Jones is scheduled to appear before Judge Donald C. Nugent today at 1 p.m. and Callier is scheduled to appear Friday at 10:30 a.m.
