Ursuline Center sponsors jobs program


CANFIELD — The Ursuline Center is offering Hope Works of the Mahoning Valley, a program designed to help the unemployed and underemployed improve their resumes, job interviewing skills, job search strategies and networking abilities.

There is no cost to participate in the program, which connects area employers and other experts to offer advice for jobseekers in the degreed and non-degreed skill levels.

There will be three sessions: Employers’ Panel with Tips and Suggestions for Your Job Search, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 at The Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road; Practice Interviews with Feedback from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 2 at The Ursuline Center; and Computer Skills for the Job Search: Basics & Beyond, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
