Philly casino plans expansion
BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) — A suburban Philadelphia casino has begun an expansion project that will add nearly 200,000 square feet to the current gambling hall.
KYW-AM reports Parx Casino in Bensalem has broken ground on an expansion that will include space for gambling as well as entertainment and other amenities.
Spokeswoman Carrie Nork Minelli says three new restaurants will be part of the expansion.
Today’s KYW report says Parx already has the largest number of table games in the state.
The addition is expected to open next summer.
