SENIOR CITIZENS


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside, and Gloria Wielbruda and Robert Schick will give reports. Luncheon hosts are Lou and Dorothy Pizzuto. There will be a ticket auction. All retirees are welcome. To report illnesses call Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship, cards and games. Take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. All are welcome.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will not have their next monthly meeting Nov. 4 because of the Lowellville Ohio Water Day luncheon. The December Christmas party will be at 7 p.m Dec. 3 at Gianna’s Catering in Lowellville with an Italian dinner provided by Phyllis Nolfi. Make reservations and purchase $15 dinner tickets by Nov. 21 by calling Mary Mascarella at 330-536-8748. Tickets also can be bought at the Ohio Water luncheon. Anyone over age 55 is invited to join. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Ruby Farkas will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. Retired Nurses will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4560 Canfield Road, for the annual luncheon. Those whose last names begin with A through G are asked to take desserts; H through O, entr es; and P through Z, salads. Members are asked to take hats and gloves for Fish Samaritan House. All area retired registered nurses are welcome.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center with Ann Smith presiding and Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay giving reports. A catered lunch will follow. This is the last meeting for the year. Meetings will resume in January.
