Sardich family marks couple’s 40th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Walter and Barbara Sardich of Youngstown celebrated 40 years of marriage during a dinner with their family Oct. 16 at Michael Alberini’s in Boardman.

Their children, Erik and Erin Sardich of Stow, Ohio, and Todd and Julie Sardich of Boardman, hosted the party. The Sardiches have three grandchildren, Stella, Lily and Sam.

Mrs. Sardich, the former Barbara George, and Mr. Sardich were married at St. Christine Church on Oct. 16, 1971. She retired in 2009 as a teacher at St. Christine Preschool. Her husband retired in 2010 from Banner Supply Co. He served in the U.S. Navy.

The anniversary couple are members of St. Christine’s.
