Family dinner marks 50th for the McMurrays

YOUNGSTOWN

The family of Donald and Margaret McMurray of Youngstown honored the couple for their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner party Oct. 8 at the Fifth Season restaurant, Austintown.

The couple’s children and their spouses hosted the celebration: Donald and Denise McMurray, Mark and Stephanie McMurray, and David McMurray, all of Canfield. Six grandchildren round out the family.

Holy Name Church in Youngstown was the setting when the former Margaret Kivon and Mr. McMurray were married Oct. 7, 1961.

The couple are members of Holy Name.

Mrs. McMurray retired in 1999 from Delphi Packard Electric in Warren.

Mr. McMurray retired in 1999 from United Engineering, where he was a welder, and WRTA. He served in the U.S. Navy.
