Shellie Sabel plans to marry David Duchek

The parents of Shellie Sabel, of Poland, are announcing their daughter’s engagement to David Duchek of Struthers and the couple’s plans for a December wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Sabel of Boardman, and the prospective groom is the son of William and Mary Duchek of Struthers.

Holy Trinity Church, Struthers, will be the setting for the couple’s wedding vows during an open ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 30. Invitations are being extended for a reception at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana.

Miss Sabel graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in business administration. She is a development officer for the Potential Development Program in Youngstown.

Mr. Duchek, also a YSU graduate, earned a master’s degree in history. He is a human-resource administrator for PDMI in Poland.
