Pink Ribbon Classic to gather cheerleaders

YOUNGSTOWN

Zeta Tau Alpha Youngstown Alumnae and Collegians will host the 11th annual Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Youngstown State University’s Beeghly Center.

With a record 100-plus local cheerleading teams participating, the goal is to match the $115,000 raised at last year’s event.

Spectators may attend for $5 admission at the door.

All proceeds are donated to breast cancer awareness and research on behalf of the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.

Breast cancer survivors will attend for free and be honored in a ceremony at 12:15 p.m.
