CB Joe Haden back at practice for Browns

BEREA
Browns cornerback Joe Haden is on the practice field for the first time since spraining his left knee in an Oct. 2 game.
Haden took part in drills Friday during the early portion of practice open to the media. Haden said Thursday his knee was feeling better and his return increases his chances of playing Sunday against Seattle. Haden, Cleveland’s best defensive back, sat out last week’s game in Oakland.
Also, running back Peyton Hillis (hamstring) and linebacker Scott Fujita (concussion) were not seen in the indoor field house as the Browns practiced. Both were injured in last week’s game and will likely sit this week. Fujita was sent home the past two days to rest because of symptoms from the concussion.
Steelers’ Pouncey probable
PITTSBURGH
His left elbow heavily wrapped after practice Friday, Pittsburgh center Maurkice Pouncey says he’s dealt with pain the past two days but will start Sunday at Arizona.
Pouncey, a Pro Bowler as a rookie last season, left practice early Thursday with the elbow injury. He has started all six games this season, but was forced to leave some games early with ankle and knee injuries.
Starting guard Doug Legursky is normally the backup center, but he will not play against the Cardinals because of a toe injury. That would have left center to Trai Essex if Pouncey could not play.
The Steelers will have two erstwhile starters return to the offensive line: left guard Chris Kemoeatu (knee) and rookie right tackle Marcus Gilbert (left shoulder).
NFL FINES
NEW YORK
Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk was fined $10,000 by the NFL for an obscene gesture during last week’s win over St. Louis.
Hawk gestured to the Packers’ sideline after making a play and was caught by television cameras.
Teammates Clay Matthews and Tramon Williams also have been fined $5,000 each for wearing nonconforming shoes with their throwback uniforms against the Rams.
Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu, the 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has been hit for $10,000 for talking on a cell phone while in the bench area. Possession of cell phones in the bench area during a game is prohibited beginning 90 minutes before kickoff through the end of the game.
Houston DE Antonio Smith has been fined $7,500 for unnecessary roughness. He pulled off Ravens guard Andre Gurode’s helmet.
