Sept. 14

Vehicle theft: A 1989 GMC truck was stolen in the 4000 block of Victoria Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Tim Brooke, 24, of 8205 Meadowood Drive, Canfield, in the 100 block of South Kimberly Avenue on a warrant for drug possession.

Warrant: Police arrested Kevin Williams, 23, of 61 S. Canfield-Niles Road, on a warrant of two counts of assault.

Menacing: Threats were made to the owner of a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Theft: Food was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., and police arrested was Delbert Kellar, 37, 1012 Fifth St., Niles, who was issued a summons and then released to Trumbull County for a warrant in that county.

Sept. 15

Warrant: Police arrested Christopher Hammer, 19, of 422 Second St., Warren, on a warrant for felonious assault.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Brian C. Ward, 32, of 1030 Compass West Drive, Apt. 3, Youngstown, with criminal trespassing at Alfredo’s Pizza, 3120 S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Kimberly Bartlett, 39, of 1892 Paisley St., Youngstown, on a warrant for criminal damaging. Theft: Money was withdrawn from an ATM account at First Place Bank, 3516 S. Meridian Road.

Burglary: Copper was stolen from a home in the 70 block of Placid Boulevard.

Criminal damaging: Rocks were thrown at a car with damage done to the door at South Raccoon Road and Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 16

Auto theft: A 2006 Pontiac Vibe was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Orkney Avenue, but it was recovered later on Bexley Drive.

Theft: An Ohio license plate was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Burglary: A copper waterline was stolen from a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Drug offense: Police charged Randall McGraw, 41, of 6608 Covington Cove, Canfield, with illegal processing of drug documents and permitting drug abuse, and charged George Ruckman, 34, of 1309 Vienna Road, Niles, with possession of an illegal drug document at Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted phone calls were received at a home in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Theft: Patrons walked out on a food bill at Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.

Recovered property: A New Jersey commercial trailer was recovered at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Disorderly conduct: Police gave a summons to Mark Kassing, 51, of 4213 Burkey Road, Apt. 3, for disorderly conduct at Moorefield Drive and Pembrook Road.

Sept. 17

Drug offense: Police charged Justin Szekely, 34, of 570 Forest St., NE, Warren, with drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the parking lot of Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Angel Mendez, 29, of 659 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue on a warrant and turned him over to Canfield police.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Ali Timm-Rouse, 23, of 8025 Meanderwood Drive, Canfield, for drug abuse and drug paraphernalia, and a summons to Benjamin Hoffman, 34, of Defiance, on a warrant for drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were arrested at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Ganel Boyers, 54, of 6270 Fairview Road, on a warrant for failure to appear twice on a suspension of Ohio license charge.

Criminal damaging: A door trim was damaged at a home in the 200 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Red Apple Drive.

Theft: Police arrested two male juveniles for the crime at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A purse was stolen from an auto parked at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Drug offense: Police charged Anthony Lucci, 21, Chagrin Falls, with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the parking lot of Chippers, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was keyed in the driveway of a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: A checkbook was stolen in the checkout line at Walmart.

Theft: A wooden mailbox was taken from a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Theft: A white male walked out with a wireless router and a laptop computer from Wal-Mart.

Assault: A female was struck with a glass bottle in the face at Bill’s Place,4771 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Baylor Drive.

Aggravated robbery: A female was punched by an assailant who took her money and wallet at Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.

Breaking and entering: Copper and tools were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of East Radio Road.

Criminal damaging: Tires were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Criminal trespassing: Frankie Lockett, 20, of 919 Main Ave. SW, Warren, was released on a summons charging criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Lost or stolen Ohio license: A woman reported her Ohio license lost or stolen at an unknown location.

Breaking and entering: Interior offices were broken into at Youngstown Bending and Rolling, 3710 Hendricks Road, but nothing was reported missing.

Theft: Mary Baun, 57, of 738 Glen Park Road, Boardman, was issued a summons charging theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. The suspect is accused of placing lower-priced tags on clothing before checking out.

Disorderly conduct: Justin Baun, 29, 738 Glen Park Road, Boardman, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Kmart.

Sept. 20

Breaking and entering: A copper waterline was taken from a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.

Warrant: Moses Mason, 38, of 545 Michelle Drive, Antioch, Tenn., was arrested on a warrant charging failure to pay child support.

Aggravated burglary: A television, safe and bicycle were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Avenue.

Barking dog: Cherol Martin, 52, of 171 S. Edgehill Ave., was issued a summons for a barking dog.

Theft: Rosemary Labato, 50, of 330 Sleepy Hollow Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a warrant charging theft as an employee at J.C. Penney. She’s accused of skimming $570 from a cash drawer.

Fraud: A female received information that her name and Social Security number were used on a bad account at a home in the 200 block of S. Main Street.

Criminal damaging: A woman’s car was keyed at Crestwood Center, 25 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal trespassing: Samuel Collins, 25, of 476 Garland Drive, Niles, was issued a summons charging criminal trespassing at Pilot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle: A friend took the resident’s car in the 1000 block of Maple Crest Drive and wrecked it in Youngstown.

Fraud: An account was opened in the victim’s name at Verizon for $1,027 in the 4000 block of Viall Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Jody Yaple, 34, of 4554 Bessemer, Youngstown, was arrested in the theft of a ring at Kmart.

Menacing: Threats were made at a home in the 4000 block of Woodleigh Lane.

Criminal trespassing: Craig Reeder, 67, homeless, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct at Pilot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Theft: A Garmin with a case was stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Criminal damaging: A house was shot by a pellet gun in the 2000 block of Innwood Street.

Breaking and entering: A vacant residence in the 100 block of S. Inglewood Ave. was broken into, and copper was stolen.

Fraud: Fraudulent checks were received for an item on Craig’slist at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Theft: Unauthorized purchases were made on a checking account at Charter One Bank, 6071 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A residence was forcibly entered, and copper was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of W. Webb Road.

Warrant: Sharon Pavelko, 38, of 215 Steel St., Youngstown, Apt. 3, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on a probation violation on original traffic charges and a charge of child endangering.

Warrant: Lesa Paris, 33, of 105 Hazelwood, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant charging theft at state Route 46 and County Line Road.

Drug offense: Police arrested Lesa Paris, 33, of 105 Hazelwood, Youngstown for the alleged possession of heroin, suboxone, drug paraphernalia and syringes.

Criminal damaging: A 1992 Chevrolet was dented at BW-3, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Failure to comply: James W. Minerd Jr., 29, of 31 Stambaugh St., Girard, was arrested on a felony warrant charging domestic violence and issued a summons charging failure to comply and obstructing official business at Burkey Road and Compass West.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman is accused of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Identity theft: An account was opened on Facebook without authority at a home in the 5000 block of Baker Street.

Theft: A Pa. temporary license tag was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Criminal damaging: Vehicle paint was scratched at Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.

Breaking and entering: A copper pipe was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Marcia Drive.

Burglary: Seventeen suboxone pills were stolen at an apartment in the 1000 block of N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Michael Jolliff, an employee, 26, of 633 W. Third Street, Niles, was arrested and charged with theft of $420 from Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave. He was also charged with drug abuse of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Criminal damaging: Two cellphones were damaged at Wedgewood Laundry, 4286 New Road.

Criminal trespassing: Melissa Paterchak, 45, of 265 S. Raccoon Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing at another location in the 200 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A bottle of hand lotion was stolen by two male suspects at Walgreen’s, 40 N. Meridian Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were received at a home in the 1000 block of Old Farm Trail.

Theft: Three watches were stolen from a home in the 200 block of First Street.

Warrant: Mistia Damelio, 20, of 2188 Penny Lane, was arrested on a warrant charging contempt of court and probation violation.

Warrant: James Raynovich, 27, of 1797 S. Raccoon Road, No. 18, was arrested on a warrant charging possession of heroin at the Wedgewood Plaza, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of 42nd Street.

Warrant: Matthew Villers, 26, of 4200 Pembrook Road, No. 4, was arrested on a warrant charging receiving stolen property.

Warrant: Brittany Satterfield, 20, of 5006 Firnley Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant charging auto theft.

Assault: A male was punched at the transportation office of the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 4795 Woodridge Drive.

Drug offense: Matthew Bagoly, 25, homeless, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug instruments.

Theft: $510 was missing from a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Theft: A dirt bike was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Menacing: Menacing remarks were made on Facebook at a home in the 100 block of Rosemont Ave.

Fraud: A fraudulent student loan for $5,505 was opened in a father’s name in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: A Pacific silver ladies’ bicycle was stolen from an auto in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Marc Chicase, 34, of 719 Nelbert Lane, Boardman, was arrested on a warrant charging public indecency.

Attempted burglary: There were pry marks on a window at a home in the 1000 block of Idlewood Road.

Attempted auto theft: A woman reported her vehicle was damaged by her friend at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Theft: A cashier was shortchanged $400 at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated menacing: A gun was pointed at a victim at Westminster Avenue and N. Four Mile Run Road.

Fraud: An unauthorized charge was made on a business account at DeKay Frabrications, 2550 S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Jeffrey Anderson, 21, of 3157 Congress Lake Road, Mogadore, was arrested on three warrants out of Muskingum and Columbiana counties charging possession of dangerous drugs.

Telecommunications harassment: A suspect is accused in making harassing calls to a home in the 5000 block of Sterling Drive.

Criminal trespassing: Robin Norman, 43, of 222 Washington Ave., Niles, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing at a home in the 5000 block of Sterling Street.

Warrant: George C. Vaugh, 40, of 879 Miller Road, Ravenna, was arrested on a warrant charging theft.

Theft: Mark Piroch, 23, of 128 N. Main St., was arrested and charged with the theft of a men’s wrist watch valued at $19.99 at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Autumn Verity, 33, of 907 Warren Ave., Niles, was arrested on a warrant charging theft.

Criminal damaging: Two vehicles were damaged at D&L Sales, 1213 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Recovered property: An Ohio registration was recovered in the 1000 block of N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Attempted breaking and entering: An attempt was made to pry open doors at Lucianno’s, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Files were stolen at Financial Concept, 5211 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Brian Kennedy, 42, of 2550 S. Raccoon Road, Apt. 5, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Criminal damaging: A truck mirror was damaged at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Scrap metal was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Aggravated burglary: Two masked males struck the victim in a burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road. Nothing was missing.

Theft: A spare key to a vehicle was stolen from an auto at Polaris, 500 Victoria Road.

Auto theft: A 2000 Freightliner from Indiana was stolen at Polaris, 500 Victoria Road.

Fraud: A transaction was made in China fraudulently for $308.13 and $2.47 at a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Fleeing and eluding: Austin Chance, 18, of 2277 Innwood Ave., was arrested on a charge of fleeing and eluding.

Theft: $43.30 in gasoline was stolen at Uni-Mart, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: An apartment door was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Assault: Many people were involved in an assault at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Fraud: Vehicles were purchased with bad title at a home in the 2000 block of Ardenwood Place. The previous owner is to return the money.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was taken from a home in the 20 block of N. Roanoke Ave.

Identity theft: A victim’s personal information was used to open a Dish Network account.

Burglary: Nothing was taken in a break-in at a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Animal complaint: A summons was issued to Adam Bachtel, 30, 5642 London Drive, for a loose dog.

Breaking and entering: An air conditioner was pushed in and a home broken into in the 4000 block of Kerrybrook Drive, but nothing was missing.

Criminal damaging: A window was shattered and a mirror broken at a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Theft: $40.02 in gasoline was stolen at Uni-Mart, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported and a cable box was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.

Recovered property: A men’s “Phat Farm” wallet containing $420 in cash was recovered in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Oct. 10

Drug offense: Ricky Cartery,20, of 62 Saranac Ave., Youngstown was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5000 block of Clarkins Drive.

Theft: Medication was reported stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Ave.

Theft: Leon Reynolds, 38, of 4884 Westchester Drive. No. 7 was arrested for theft of slippers, liquor and steaks at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Passing bad checks: A man is a suspect in passing bad checks to Jubilee Limousine, 4528 Aspen Drive.

Burglary: A safe was stolen but there were no signs of forced entry at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: $30 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: Windows, a light and vinyl siding were shot with a bb gun in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.

Menacing: A male is suspect in menacing at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Assault: A 17-year -old was a victim of assault in the 4000 block of New Road.

Oct. 11

Theft: $284 in unauthorized charges were made on a debit card stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: John Blazo, 49, of 4147 New Road, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with probation and a domestic violence charge.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account in the 2000 block of Vollmer Road.

Theft: A Garmin and a chain saw were taken from an auto at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Criminal trespassing: Sincearae Opatken,47, of 215 Steel St., Youngstown and Ray Macovitz, 61, of 216 Steel St., Youngstown were both arrested for trespassing at the at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive. Opatken was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Lottery tickets were stolen at Raccoon Road Beer and Wine,3120 S. Raccoon Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Harassment by phone was reported at a home in the 200 block of N. Main Street.

Theft: Pills were stolen from a home in the 100 block of S. Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: A Wii game system, jewelry, GPS, movies, games and DVDs were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Oct. 12

Identity theft: Credit cards were opened in the victim’s name in the 2000 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: Jay Weston, 25, of 10738 Main St., New Middletown, was issued a summons for theft of an 8.4 ounce bottle of Red Bull at Sheetz gas station, and was also arrested on a warrant out of Columbiana.

Theft: Prescription medications were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Howard Street.

Theft: A power tool and two radar detectors were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Theft: A radar detector, $37 and an Ohio driver’s license were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Theft: A 2006 Great Dane trailer was stolen and later located at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Warrant: Steven Spitzer, 22, of 6642 Abbott St., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a burglary charge.

Theft: Slim Jims were stolen at Sheetz gas station.

Theft: An iPad was stolen at Fyda Freightliner,5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Michael Marsh, 34, of 4499 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna was arrested for theft of $200 in merchandise at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. and on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

Criminal damaging: An apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road was damaged.

Telecommunications harassment: An ex-employee is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Transient vendor violation: Jan Fisher,53, of 227 Second St., Warren was arrested on a transient vendor violation in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Court.

Theft: Michael Gay, 40,of 379 Stephens St., Youngstown was arrested for theft of $116 in merchandise at Wal-Mart for possession of criminal tools, and on a Youngstown warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Burglary: Numerous items were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Oct. 15

Recovered vehicle: A 2010 Nissan was stolen at Vinnie’s Drive Thru, 1255 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A realty sign and lawn were damaged at a home in the 5000 block of DePauw Ave.

Drug offense: David Chmelik Jr., 22, of 3386 Main St., Mineral Ridge was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession in the 5000 block of Clarkins Drive.

Criminal damaging: A driver’s window was broken out at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Breaking and entering: The rear window was broken out but no entry was gained at ABC Motor Credit, 4508 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A vehicle was recovered in the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A 16-year-old female was arrested for stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A rock was thrown through a windshield at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
