Southbound Route I-680 reopens after accident

Southbound Route I-680 reopened late this morning after a n accident near the Glenwood Avenue exit snarled traffic.

Earlier reports had rush-hour traffic backed up to the Meander Reservoir.

The crash at about 8 a.m. involved an undetermined number of tractor trailer trucks and passenger vehicles. Witnesses at the scene said at least three crushed cars are being removed from the scene.
