Mooney grad Johnson-Koulianos signs with Montreal of CFL

YOUNGSTOWN

Former Cardinal Mooney standout Derrell Johnson-Koulianos has signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

Koulianos, a record-setting receiver from Iowa, went undrafted in April and was not added to any training camp rosters this summer.

The Alouettes are 10-5 and have already clinched a playoff berth. They lead the East Division with three games remaining. They play Saturday against Winnipeg.
