Recognizing addiction is program subject

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Grandparents and Other Relatives Raising Children, a program of Penn State Extension in Lawrence County, will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Third Presbyterian Church, 1315 E. Washington St.

A light dinner will be served.

Don Hawk will present a program titled “Recognizing, Understanding and Treating Alcohol/Drug Addiction.”

Preregistration is required, and children are welcome. Call 724-654-8370 before Thursday. Specify the number of adults and children who will attend. Email registration can be made at sle13@psu.edu.
